84-Year-Old Nun Sentenced for Breaking Into Defense Facility

An 84-year-old nun is sentenced to almost three years behind bars for breaking into a Tennessee defense facility where enriched uranium is stored.

A federal judged sentenced Sister Megan Rice to 35 months in jail for the 2012 break-in. Rice and two peace activists admitted to forcing their way into the facility and spray-painting peace slogans on the walls. The two other activists each received prison sentences of 62 months.
