Agency Postpones New Water Restriction Rules

Agency Postpones New Water Restriction Rules

The Placer County Water Agency is postponing adopting new water restriction rules until April due to our recent rains.

The Agency said the wet weather in February and early March hasn't ended California's drought but is giving the agency more time to determine if water delivery restrictions will be needed this year.

The agency's board made the decision at its meeting on Thursday.

The directors said they would assess water availability after the results of the April 1st snow survey.
