We've got two cents worth of good news.
The average price of a gallon of gasoline has dropped 2 cents over the past two weeks to $3.29, according to the Lundberg Survey.
But publisher Trilby Lundberg says the market is poised to begin seeing price hikes.
"That's because retailers have been shielding motorists, briefly, while they get wholesale price hikes. They've been losing gasoline margin, and at a certain point, which I think will be very soon, they're going to have to give in and hike prices to motorists," she said.
Right now Billings, Montana, has the lowest price per gallon at $2.99. San Diego has the highest prices at $3.63.
The average price in Sacramento is $3.42.
