CA Company Recalls Nearly 9M Pounds of Meat

A whole years' worth of beef produced by Petaluma-based Rancho Feeding Corp. has been recalled because the company processed diseased animals without a full federal inspection. The USDA says without the full inspection, 8.7 million pounds of recalled products are unfit for humans to eat. The processed beef carcasses, oxtail, liver, cheeks, tripe, and tongue have been shipped to distribution and retail centers in California, Florida, Illinois, and Texas.
