Large Fossil Discoveries Made in Silicon Valley

Work on the dam at the Calaveras Reservoir in Silicon Valley is revealing all kinds of prehistoric discoveries. The San Jose Mercury News is reporting that paleontologists have dug up gigantic teeth presumed to be from a 40-foot shark, an entire whale skeleton, and even fossilized plants. In all, the well over 500 types of fossils have been pulled out of the project site.
