Putting up your holiday lights doesn't have bust your budget this year.
PG&E is out with tips for saving energy while still lighting up the holidays. Spokeswoman Lynsey Paulo says it starts with LEDs.
"LED lights can reduce energy consumption by up to 90 percent when compared to traditional holiday lights," Paulo said.
And the LEDs have other benefits.
"In addition to being energy efficient, LEDs are shatterproof," she said.
