Sacramento Will Get Part of $1.5 million Grant for Water Pollution

The U.S. Environomental Protection Agency says the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Conservancy based in West Sacramento will get a portion of over $1.5 million in grant money to conduct research designed to prevent and eliminate water pollution. 

The EPA's regional administrator says the money will help with projects to improve water resources in the increasingly arid West.
