You'll likely see some massive steel gates being moved on local roads later this month -- they're headed for Folsom Dam.
These gates are reportedly the height of the Statue of Liberty.
The Sacramento Bee reports they will be shipped to Folsom from Portland along I-5.
That's going to mean the freeway will have to be closed, but only at night. The gate sections won't travel during the day.
Still, when they arrive in the Sacramento area, you can expect delays on the Yolo Bypass, among other roads.
The Army Corps of Engineers will hold public meetings Feb. 19 and 24 to get comments for the Folsom Dam project before putting out a report.
The project has been under way since 2008
